Jott Newsletter - new iPhone app, 10% discount extended, Voicemail Jott Links, listen to your lists, David Allen discount

Dear Jotter,

We hope you are having a productive start to your new year! As usual, we have a lot of news this month, so read on to learn more about the new iPhone app, the extension of our annual plan discount, listening to your lists, and sending voicemail to Jott Links.

New iPhone app
Jott for iPhone 2.0 is (finally) ready to go and it is far more flexible than the old app (completely unbiased of course). Thanks for your patience and encouragement while we finished it up. We hope you like the results. You are now able to send messages and updates to all of your iPhone contacts, Jott Groups, and Jott Links with just a couple of taps. Download it now or visit our Jott for iPhone page to learn more. You will need to be a paying member of Jott to use the application. Make sure you take advantage of the extended annual plan discount (see below) or you can choose one of our convenient PayGo plans that let you pay only for what you use. If you like the app, please leave some positive feedback for us in the App Store. It helps a whole lot.

Discount extended
We have extended the annual plan discount. With it, you will get an additional 10% off any of our annual plans, which already offer 2 months free, if you sign up before February 28th. Simply go to your account page to change your plan, type in JOTT6047340875 as the promo code for the annual Jott plan, or PRO6047340875 for the annual Jott Pro plan. Then enter your billing information.

Listen to your lists
Now you can listen to your lists using the call in service. Just call Jott, and after the main prompt, say "Jott Lists." When asked "Which list?", say the name of your list. Your list items will be read back to you. After each item, you can press 7 to delete or press 9 to save and move to the next item. It is a great tool for shopping and other itemized lists.

Voicemail Jott Links
If you have Jott Voicemail, you can now send your voicemail messages to Jott Links like Google Calendar, Remember the Milk, Toodledo, and other list services. Set up the Links you want to use on the Voicemail Settings page. If you have not yet tried getting your voicemail converted to email with Jott Voicemail, you should. There is a 1-week free trial when you sign up, and we are pretty sure you will never go back to regular voicemail.

35% Discount on David Allen's upcoming GTD Summit:
David Allen is a pretty big fan of Jott. The feeling is definitely mutual. David and his GTD philosophy have spread like wildfire in business and personal productivity circles around the world. His organization has put together a fantastic event in San Francisco from March 11th-13th with a bunch of great speakers and seminars focused on "Getting Things Done" in these challenging times. Click here to register for the event, and use the promotional code "Jott35" to get a 35% discount (more than $770) off the Summit fee. You can get more details about the GTD Summit at www.gtdsummit.com. Hope you enjoy!

Jott Tips of the Month

Proactively set reminders
Jotters everywhere are proactively setting reminders by responding "Reminder" to "Who do you want to Jott?" It is a lot faster than waiting for the "Want a reminder?" prompt.

The many ways to add to your Jott Lists
If you manage your life with lists and have not yet tried Jott lists, you absolutely should. It is incredibly easy to add to your lists via voice, email and text message. Check out the power tips on the How to Jott page for text and email entry instructions.

Press 1 in noisy environments
If you are in a noisy environment and want to leave yourself a quick note using the call in service, press 1 as soon as Jott picks up. It's a great shortcut.

That's it for now, but be sure to check out our blog for all of the latest updates from Jott.

Thanks for using Jott!
